Enough experience to handle commercial contracts independently, with confidence and judgment.

Experience at AZB, Cyril Amarchand, S&R, Khaitan, or equivalent — you know what high-quality work looks like.

Commercial Lawyer
Freelance / Revenue Share · Remote · India
We're looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to work with us on a freelance, revenue-share basis. You'll handle commercial contracts — NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, employment agreements — for our startup clients. You'll be supported by our AI workflow, which means less time on first drafts and research, and more time on what you're actually good at.
You'll be doing:
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts for seed-to-Series A Indian startups
- Client communication and advice on contract terms and negotiation strategy
- Using our AI tools to work faster — and giving us feedback on how to improve them
- Occasionally supporting fundraising work (CCDs, term sheets) if you have the experience
- Helping shape how the firm operates as an early team member
What we're looking for:
- 5–8 years PQE, with a background in commercial contracts at a Tier 1 Indian firm
- Strong drafting skills and comfort handling contracts independently
- Genuine curiosity about AI and how it's changing legal practice
- Good communication — you'll interact directly with startup founders and operators
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time
